would like to recommend series to anyone who visits my blog, so you can enjoy
them in your free time.
I'd like
to start with one of my Netflix favorites:
"The hauting of Hill house"
Created
by Mike Flanagan, and is based on Shirley Jackson's 1959 novel of the same
name. The series
premiered on October 12, 2018 and consists of ten episodes.
The
series tells the story of a family that lived in hill house, between temporary
jumps it shows us how the family had several encounters with ghosts, shows us
their past and how it influences them to the present, where siblings are
already adults. The end is what I liked the most about this series, because at
the beginning, seems like a complicated series to understand, but each chapter
that you advance leaves you amazed, until you get to the last cap where you
finally solve all the doubts, which for my taste is the best chapter, This
series mixes suspense with terror, it's a good recommendation for fans of this
genre, the paranormal story of each of the brothers in that house is really
amazing, everyone has something to tell, and it's amazing how the hill house
leaves ravages in their lives, affecting every part of their lives and taking
their loved ones' lives. 100% recommended!!!
Another series I'd like to recommend is “El
reemplazante”, this series consists of two seasons, It was created by Javier
Bertossi, Nimrod Amitai and Ignacio Arnold, it's a well-known Chilean series. I
recommend it because the series shows realities of which we aren´t always aware, realities
that are present in Chile more than we think, shows the history of teenagers in
a school and the vulnerability of their realities: poverty, drugs, prostitution,
crime,teen pregnancy, among other rather common and cruel realities, f you want
to make the reality of Chile visible, it's a good series that shows you. The actors
are able to show a good performance to the characters who assigned him, it's a
series you should see if or if you live in Chile, is available on Netflix.
El reemplazante is the best serie ever! I really like it as a sample and it addresses the social problems of Chile, as are most of the municipal schools and the populations of Chile.
ResponderEliminarThanks for the recommendations, I like the terror and suspence, but sometimes I don´t take it seriusly so I stay all the movie laughing. And I remember a little about "el reemplazante" when I saw in TVN, but I would look it again with a new perspective.

ResponderEliminarHi Moira! The haunting of hill house sounds really scary, but also very interesting. I like mystery and horror movies (or series) but I don´t always like watching them by my self.

Thank you for the recommendations! Of the two series you mention, I have not seen "The haunting of Hill House" and I don´t think I will see it (sorry), because I am very afraid of suspense and terror :(

wow i loved El Reemplazante, it showed a lot of the things that happenned in Chile during the "Revolucion Pinguina" and other stuffs of the chileans reality.
